If you travel down to the depths of the sea, the lowest point, you'd be surprised to see you can keep going lower. How is this possible? There's a portal swirling the waters around it. Any perfpal would feel uneasy just looking at it. You'd have to be crazy to go explore it!
Though some perfpals dare to see... The area is completely pitch black. If you have no light source, you'd be bumping into everything and anything. Despite the darkness, some organisms in the abyssal zone have evolved the ability to produce their own light through bioluminescence. These bioluminescent organisms may use light for communication, predation, or defense. The most notable of these organisms are the Void Perfpals. While the area is pitch black to us, the area is simply just dark to them. Though even they cannot see perfectly. The temperature tends to be very low, often near the freezing point or even below freezing in some cases. The absence of sunlight means there is no heat from solar radiation. While coral reefs are commonly associated with shallow, sunlit waters, deep-sea coral reefs thrive in the darkness of the void. These ancient coral formations, often composed of stony or precious corals, provide shelter and feeding grounds for a variety of deep-sea organisms. By cultivating and shaping these corals, void perfpals could create intricate and ecologically sustainable structures that provide habitat for a variety of marine life. Bioluminescent algae is cultivated to provide a soft, eerie glow, enhancing visibility in the otherwise dark surroundings.
Other perfpals can not explore around here without being in a specialized suit at all times. The diving suit has magic infused into it, giving them the ability to withstand the pressures. Once the magic has been sewn into the suit, it will never lose it's ability, nor can it be taken out. The suits recognize the pressure, so they can't be taken off in dangerous zones.
