Patch
Every Perfpal has a patch. It holds the magic used to bring them to life, and without it they will turn into normal, inanimate plushies. Patches are always a single piece of fabric, and while they can have any pattern or shape, they may not be split into several pieces, with the only exception being Wereperfs.
Scent Tag
Scent tags are small paper tags attached to the ear of a Perfpal. They can be any shape, but most commonly they are descriptive and take the shape of what the Perfpal is scented, like an air freshener. Scent tags help to regulate the magic in a Perfpal's body. If a Perfpal ever loses their scent tag, they turn into a Wereperf.
