Meiying

The simplified history of the original Angelic Perfpal and her tragedy

This is the story that Perfpals know! While it is much longer and complicated than this, this is what all Perfpals know to be true!

Meiying was deeply in love with Amenhotep.  The two Perfpals had the chance to shape the world together, and they did. Alongside the other original thread Perfpals, the couple breathed life into the world. Meiying was a symbol of peace, tranquility, love, and the skies. As Ancient Perfpals roamed the new world, the two worked as King and Queen of the mainland. Something sinister was happening and Meiying was able to feel it but unable to act upon it. It felt as if evil itself materialized and walked the same land they did. There was no way of knowing for sure, so Meiying focused her time on caring for the world. 
In a desolate landscape, Meiying encountered her beloved Amenhotep, but his once-kind demeanor had been replaced by darkness, causing her heart to sink with dread. As she approached him, she was met with a sense of danger emanating from his malevolent presence. Despite her desperate pleas for understanding, Amenhotep recoiled from her touch, consumed by a primal fury that confirmed Meiying's worst fears. Not only had the evil materialized, but it turned the love of her life into a puppet of darkness. Unable to save Amenhotep, Meiying fled, her steps heavy with sorrow. Yet, just as despair threatened to overwhelm her, a radiant light enveloped her, offering solace and clarity. Good and Evil were materialized, and they used the couples as puppets for their fight. The two were drug into a divine battle, Meiying still conscious of it all. Guided by this divine presence, Meiying resolved to face the darkness, defending herself against Amenhotep's onslaught with love and compassion, refusing to strike back at the man she once loved. In a moment of revelation, she harnesses her newfound power to create two realms: Athelney as her sanctuary and Bleakburn to contain Amenhotep's darkness. Though their paths diverged, Meiying vowed to cherish their love and keep hope alive in her heart as she confronted the trials ahead.  When the original Perfpals went to war, her barriers cracked. Though she never struck another Perfpal, she still participated by trying her best in any way to keep Angelic Perfpals safe. When the world was wiped out by Mother, Meiying was the last Perfpal banished from Cuddleluna.
